If you’re in New Zealand, then you might have heard about freedom Camping,
but you might ask what exactly this type of camping is all about. It is a type
of fun and travel activity that comprises of setting up a tent or traveling in
a campervan, which is free to park at the marked camping area. This activity
gives you the chance to see the most spectacular places. You can feel close to
the earth. But even with all of these marvelous factors, there are some cons to
it. Freedom camping is popular, but
there are some grievances with regard to hygiene and safety. You can find waste
and litter all around the camping sites. Thus, some rules set by the government
need to be followed. First and foremost, it is essential to throw and dispose
of garbage at designated places. Utilize the toilet facility in a campervan (if
you have one) or at designated outlets, rather than urinating in the wild. You should refrain from camping near
residential areas so that you can keep noise pollution at a minimum. Do not
start a campfire unless it is a designated area for it. As a precautionary
measure, have at least 10 liters of water with you. Respecting the locals is
mandatory, and leave no signs of your visit. Do make sure to obey any signs
that say No Camping Zones. Otherwise, be prepared to pay a penalty for violating it.
